Position: Bilingual Account Executive
We are seeking a bilingual Account Executive who is energized by B2B consultative selling, relationship-building, and helping organizations solve important operational challenges through technology.

Our clients include organizations such as Elections PEI, the Liberal Party of Canada, and the University of Toronto. About the Role
As an Account Executive, you will own and progress new-business opportunities through the sales process, including qualification, discovery, demos, proposal development, follow-up, and closing. You will work with a combination of warm inbound leads and targeted outbound opportunities, managing multiple conversations simultaneously while prioritizing high-value and high-probability opportunities.
Success in this role requires strong communication skills, thoughtful discovery, excellent organizational discipline, and the ability to proactively move opportunities forward in a consultative sales environment. You will receive training on the online voting industry, customer use cases, our sales process, and Simply Voting’s platform capabilities.
This position is well-suited for someone who is self-motivated, responsive, detail-oriented, and enjoys owning the full sales process, from qualification and discovery through proposal, follow-up, and close.

Qualifications
- Fluency in French and English (written and spoken)
- Experience in B2B sales roles
- Excellent customer relationship management skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- University degree or equivalent relevant experience preferred
- Creative mindset and eagerness to grow with the company
Responsibilities
- Qualify and nurture inbound leads through the sales funnel
- Engage targeted outbound prospects to generate new opportunities
- Provide timely, professional, and personable communication via phone, email, and remote meetings
- Conduct discovery calls to understand customer needs, timelines, decision-making processes, and requirements
- Deliver professional remote product demonstrations tailored to customer use cases
- Own and proactively progress opportunities throughout the sales process, from qualification and discovery through proposal, close, and handoff
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and RFP responses aligned with customer requirements
- Maximize conversions by executing follow-ups to progress opportunities through the pipeline
- Prioritize high-value and high-probability opportunities effectively across multiple simultaneous conversations
- Maintain accurate and organized CRM records, including activity tracking, pipeline updates, risks, next steps, and customer communications
- Meet or exceed assigned responsiveness, pipeline generation, and quota targets and guidelines
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of online voting, customer use cases, and Simply Voting’s platform capabilities
- Travel and provide in-person presentations or sell at tradeshows (very infrequently)
