About the Role
We are seeking a hands-on Business Operations Manager (BizOps) to help execute and scale Simply Voting’s operational strategy.
This role sits at the intersection of business operations, data, and technology. You will work horizontally across departments to analyze metrics, identify bottlenecks, optimize workflows, and implement systems that help the company operate more efficiently as we grow.
This role is focused on hands-on execution. You will be a doer, integrator, and problem-solver — someone comfortable working directly in business systems (CRM, support tools, websites, analytics, automation platforms) and translating senior management’s direction into concrete operational improvements.

- Not a software developer or sysadmin
- Not a senior executive or director role
- Not a people-management position
This is a newly created role, and responsibilities may evolve over time as the company grows and systems mature.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Analysis & Execution
- Analyze data across marketing, sales, elections, support, retention, and operations.
- Build dashboards and metrics to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and growth opportunities.
- Implement the operational game plan defined by senior management (President & VP).
Business Systems & Workflow Optimization
- Own and optimize core business systems, including:
- CRM (Pipedrive)
- Support ticket system (Zendesk)
- Telephony and scheduling tools (RingCentral, Calendly)
- Design and implement integrated workflows using tools such as Zapier and custom automations.
- Reduce manual work and improve handoffs between departments.
Marketing & Revenue Support (Data-Driven)
- Support the Head of Marketing and Sales Director with quantitative analysis related to PPC, SEO, and funnel performance.
- Help ensure marketing, sales, and customer success systems are aligned and measurable.
AI & Automation Enablement
- Identify and implement internal AI use cases, including:
- Custom GPTs
- Workflow automation
- Process augmentation across departments
Web & Digital Oversight
- Provide functional oversight of the WordPress webmaster.
- Review and validate work related to website changes, integrations, and performance (without being the designer or developer).
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with the President and Vice President to execute cross-department initiatives.
- Act as a technical and analytical resource for business teams.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors as required.
- University degree or equivalent experience
- Proven experience in business operations, BizOps, systems integration, or similar roles
- Strong data literacy and comfort analyzing metrics to drive decisions
- Hands-on experience with:
- CRMs
- SQL
- WordPress
- Business systems and SaaS tools
- Business AI integration
- Workflow automation (e.g. Zapier)
- Self-starter who is comfortable working independently and remotely
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
